Michelle Obama has come under a lot of criticism in the press this week for choosing to wear a sleeveless Michael Kors dress for her official White House press photo.
I personally think she looks fantastic and her arms are certainly one of her assets. Any woman who gets up at 5am to squeeze in a gym workout certainly deserves to show off her arms in my book!

It’s hard to believe that summer is officially over!

If you are wearing a pattern, keep the accessories plain....with a patterned dress, choose a plain coloured bag and shoes. Keep your costume jewelery quite plain too.
Of cause, if you are a creative person you will ignore all this and do what you fancy anyway!

Linen is a fabulously cool fabric to wear in spring and summer. If you are going to spend a fair amount of time in it PLEASE consider the crease factor. If you insist on wearing it, try crisp spray starch ( from the supermarket) which will give you longer before the creases sneak in.
